Production Worker

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Overtime, evening, and weekend work may be required during peak production periods or times of increased workload. Employees are entitled to meal and rest periods in accordance with California law and Company policy.

Location: Ontario, California

Compensation: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour (Negotiable based on experience)

Reports To: Production Lead / Production Supervisor


Position Summary

The Production Worker is responsible for the fabrication, assembly, inspection, packaging, and preparation of custom sports facility products, including windscreens, netting systems, wall padding, field padding, protective screens, divider curtains, athletic equipment, and related products.

This position works in a manufacturing environment and supports production operations to ensure products are manufactured accurately, safely, and efficiently. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and capable of performing physical labor in a fast-paced production setting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Production Responsibilities

  • Fabricate and assemble custom sports facility products according to work orders, drawings, and specifications.
  • Measure, stretch, cut, sew, assemble, and prepare materials for production.
  • Safely operate equipment including sewing machines, grommet machines, cutting tools, measuring devices, and other production equipment.
  • Inspect products for quality, accuracy, and workmanship.
  • Retrieve materials from inventory and return unused materials to designated storage locations.
  • Package, label, and prepare finished products for shipment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow Company safety procedures and Cal/OSHA requirements.
  • Assist with inventory organization, material handling, and general production support activities.
  • Communicate production issues, material shortages, quality concerns, or equipment problems to supervisors in a timely manner.
  • Assist other departments as necessary to support production goals and operational requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to read and understand work orders, production instructions, safety procedures, and basic drawings.
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience in manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, warehouse operations, or a related field.
  • Ability to safely operate hand tools and basic production equipment.
  • Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, kneeling, bending, stretching, and standing for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and perform duties safely and efficiently.
  • Basic math and measurement skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must successfully pass a background check.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with industrial sewing machines, fabric products, netting systems, padding, or related manufactured products.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, or warehouse environments.
  • Forklift certification or experience operating material-handling equipment.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish.

Physical Requirements

  • Frequently stand, walk, bend, reach, twist, kneel, and perform repetitive motions throughout the workday.
  • Regularly lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to safely perform physical tasks in a production and warehouse environment.
  • Ability to use hand tools, measuring devices, and production equipment safely and effectively.

Work Environment

  • Indoor manufacturing and warehouse environment.
  • Exposure to noise, machinery, dust, and varying temperatures common to production facilities.
  • Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as determined by Company safety policies and applicable regulations.
